RF-RX1-915 Portable USA/AU Audio Receiver

RF-RX1-915 is Contacta's 915 MHz listener bodypack for receiving digital UHF speech and music. It is intended for compatible 915 MHz group transmitters in tour guidance, interpretation and assistive-listening applications. It is an audio endpoint rather than a data-network product.

USA/AU frequency identity

Keep the 915 suffix visible in quotations and device labels. A same-channel 865 MHz transmitter is not the matching source. Before operation, confirm local authorization and select a permitted channel for the deployment jurisdiction, then lock the group configuration to reduce accidental changes.

Listening acceptance

Connect the approved 3.5 mm listening accessory, set a safe starting volume and walk the expected coverage route while monitoring dropouts and intelligibility. The receiver also has a 3.5 mm line output; document which output and accessory are assigned to each user group.

Power and inventory

Contacta's manual specifies two AA alkaline or rechargeable NiMH cells, greater than ten-hour battery life with 2100 mAh rechargeables, and a bodypack measuring 88 x 64 x 29 mm without antenna. The manual distinguishes battery inclusion by frequency version, so verify the 915 package contents instead of assuming cells ship with it.
