RF-RX1-865 Portable UK/EU Listener Receiver

RF-RX1-865 is the 865 MHz version of Contacta's portable digital UHF bodypack receiver. It receives speech or music from compatible Contacta 865 MHz transmitters for assistive listening, guided tours and interpretation. The receiver does not route Ethernet traffic and should not be classified as enterprise switching equipment.

Listener interface

The unit provides 3.5 mm headphone and line outputs, a volume control and channel selection. Contacta specifies more than ten hours of operation with 2100 mAh rechargeable batteries. Pair every receiver to the transmitter's selected channel and test speech intelligibility with the actual earphone or neck loop.

865 MHz fleet control

This PID belongs to the UK/EU frequency version. Do not mix it with the 915 MHz receiver in a working group. Label receivers by frequency and channel, then verify local radio authorization, charging policy and group programming before an event.

Receiving and charging

The official manual lists a compact 88 x 64 x 29 mm bodypack, approximately 109 g without batteries, a flexible antenna and two AA battery support. The 865 package listing includes rechargeable NiMH cells; confirm current box contents and count USB cable, lanyard, belt clip and listening accessory separately.
