Starter population at larger scale

The 9508 supports up to eight line cards, eight PSUs, six same-family fabrics and two same-type supervisors. The B3-E quantities are not a fully populated eight-slot design.

FM-E/card pairing

Record the exact four FM-E PIDs and validate every planned line card for fabric generation, bandwidth and supported NX-OS or ACI release. Physical slot count alone does not establish throughput.

Power growth plan

Three PSUs may be insufficient for a densely populated configuration or a required failure-state reserve. Calculate power for cards, optics, fabrics and supervisors before adding modules.
