Cisco N9K-C9348GC-FXP provides 48 copper 100M/1G BASE-T ports, four 1/10/25G SFP28 ports and two 40/100G QSFP28 ports. The copper ports are not 10GBASE-T interfaces. Keep the three port groups separate when matching endpoint, server and uplink requirements.

Check the power option and local resources

The FXP specification lists four CPU cores, 24 GB system memory, a 128 GB SSD and a 40 MB buffer. Its power options are 350 W AC or 440 W DC, with up to two supplies, and it uses three fans. Verify the installed supply type and airflow; platform options do not establish the contents of an individual offer.

Include the documented EPLD check in acceptance

Cisco field notice FN70390 identifies a possible failure to boot after a reload or disruptive upgrade on units with IO FPGA below 0x08. The notice calls for an EPLD update and states that an NX-OS upgrade alone is insufficient. Ask for the actual firmware inventory and review the official procedure before maintenance; this does not mean every unit is affected.
