Check the module before planning forty-gigabit connections

Cisco release documentation describes an uplink module arrangement supporting up to eight 40-Gigabit QSFP+ ports. Treat that as a configuration limit, not a promise that eight uplinks or their optical modules are included. Verify the installed module identity and supported software against the required peer connections.

Do not merge the TX and TX2 ordering identities

The lifecycle table lists N9K-C93128TX2 separately as a 2RU order. Preserve N9K-C93128TX when checking rack space and the offered hardware: the 3RU base platform should not inherit the TX2 dimensions or bundle contents. Confirm compatible power, fan direction and accessories for the actual configuration.
