N9K-C93128TX-B18Q is an exact Cisco two-switch bundle, not a single 93128TX chassis. Cisco lists two Nexus 93128TX switches and eight QSFP-40G-SR-BD optics. The pair contributes 192 fixed 1/10GBASE-T copper downlink ports in aggregate; each chassis still needs a compatible uplink module, so the module PID must be confirmed separately.

Inventory the copper and uplink boundaries

Record both chassis serials, 96-port copper banks, PSU and fan airflow, rack accessories and the installed uplink module in each switch. Validate copper speed negotiation, cabling category, error counters and representative sustained traffic. Do not infer that the bundle includes a particular uplink module merely because it includes eight BiDi optics.

Accept the BiDi optical paths

Reconcile all eight QSFP-40G-SR-BD PIDs and serials with the quote. Confirm duplex multimode-fiber grade and reach, clean connectors, capture DOM transmit/receive levels and test every intended 40GbE link in both directions. Review CRC, optical-power and link-flap counters after load and failover tests.
