N9K-C93108TC-EX24= is Cisco's spare form of the Nexus 93108TC-EX 24-port configuration. The 1RU chassis has 48 physical copper downlinks, with any 24 licensed for 100M/1/10GBASE-T operation, plus six 40/100G QSFP28 uplinks. Cisco's exact lifecycle row says this spare excludes accessories, power supplies and fans.

Complete the bill of materials

Do not commission this PID as a complete switch without separately listing compatible airflow-matched fans, redundant PSUs, power cords, rack accessories, optics or DACs, and software entitlements. Photograph every PID and verify that intake/exhaust direction matches across the chassis; mixed airflow is not an acceptable substitute.

Port entitlement and copper validation

The chassis exposes 48 downlinks but the 24-port entitlement enables only any selected 24. N9K-EX-24P-UPG= is the separate upgrade for all 48. Test each enabled RJ45 path at the intended speed and cable category, then load both QSFP28 uplinks and preserve NX-OS/ACI mode plus license output.

Retirement decision

Cisco ended sale August 9, 2022 and support ends August 31, 2027. The exact replacement is N9K-C93108TC-FX3P, which adds multigigabit copper speeds; migration still requires optics, power, airflow, software and cable qualification rather than a blind chassis swap.
