Cisco lists this exact PID as a physical ASR1002-X at the 5 Gbps licensed forwarding tier with the VPN bundle, K9 image and AES license. The bundle is hardware plus VPN-oriented entitlement, not a standalone IPsec license page.

What this PID does not mean

The 5G token is a forwarding license tier and does not guarantee 5 Gbps of encrypted application traffic. Tunnel count, algorithms, packet sizes, rekey behavior and software release determine the accepted VPN capacity.

ASR1002-X is in Cisco's lifecycle notice with July 31, 2027 as the last support date. A VPN headend purchase must include peer migration and key-management continuity before that milestone.
