Cisco identifies this exact PID as a physical ASR1002-X at the 5 Gbps licensed forwarding tier with an HA-oriented bundle, K9 image and AES license. Cisco documents the fixed platform with six built-in Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and dual power supplies.

What this PID does not mean

HA is an order-family label, not evidence that one fixed chassis contains redundant route processors. A resilient design normally requires separately identified routers, links and first-hop or routing behavior; the quote must prove every device and license.

Lifecycle decision

Cisco ended sale of ASR1002-X in 2022 and lists July 31, 2027 as the last support date. New acquisition therefore requires a near-term migration decision and cannot rely on normal long-life deployment assumptions.
