AIR-AP1832I-S-K9C S-Domain Mobility Express AP

AIR-AP1832I-S-K9C is the S-domain Mobility Express order of Cisco's indoor Aironet 1832i. It provides concurrent dual-band 3x3 MIMO with two spatial streams and three integrated dual-band antennas.

S-domain four-block RF plan

Cisco lists 2.412-2.472 GHz with thirteen channels, 5.180-5.320 GHz with eight, 5.500-5.700 GHz with eleven and 5.745-5.825 GHz with five. Preserve all four blocks in the design record and verify current country approval before deployment.

Capacity and power acceptance

Test 80 MHz operation, representative Wave 2 clients, Ethernet uplink and PoE under the target image. Record AP serial, active country, channel plan, transmit-power result and client distribution; do not infer S-domain legality from a successful boot.

Mobility Express handoff

K9C means Mobility Express was the default software order. Used inventory may have been reimaged, so capture current primary/subordinate role, configuration backup and recovery result. AIR-AP1832I-N-K9C is not interchangeable because its high-band plan is narrower.

Cisco's lifecycle table names Catalyst 9115AX as the migration family and sets last support to 30 April 2027.
