AIR-AP1832I-N-K9C identifies the N-domain Aironet 1832i with default Mobility Express software. The indoor AP has integrated antennas and 802.11ac Wave 2 3x3 radios with two spatial streams.

N-domain has eleven 2.4 GHz channels

The official table specifies 2.412-2.462 GHz with eleven channels, 5.180-5.320 GHz with eight and 5.745-5.825 GHz with five. It does not list the 5.500-5.700 GHz middle block used by several other domains.

Reject copied controller country profiles

Verify that the physical N label, deployment approval and configured country agree. Inspect the running channel list after join; a controller copied from AIR-AP1832I-S-K9C can contain expectations that this N-domain unit must not satisfy.

Receiving and recovery

Record enclosure, bracket, serial, PoE class, Ethernet link, radio state and certificate. For K9C inventory, capture image and Mobility Express role, then prove backup and restore rather than relying on the historical factory option.

Cisco ended sales in 2022 and identifies Catalyst 9115AX as the migration family; support ends 30 April 2027.
