Count users separately from projected content
The WiCS-2100 specification allows up to 32 Wi-Fi users or 64 LAN users to connect. The display is limited to four simultaneous sources with a dynamic layout, output through HDMI at up to 1080p and 30 fps. Those connection limits should not be described as four-screen output or 4K presentation.
Maintain clients deliberately
Barco states that the wePresent/MirrorOp auto-update service has been discontinued. Use the manufacturer download page to check the available client and release notes, and test it with the intended operating system. Do not treat the old datasheet’s open-ended OS list as guaranteed support for every newer system. XMS Cloud management is no longer available for this product.
