R4W37A Overview
Japan directional acceptance
R4W37A is the JP AP-577EX order in the HPE Aruba Networking 570EX hazardous-location family. It combines dual-radio 2x2/4x4 Wi-Fi 6 operation with internal directional antennas for outdoor industrial coverage.
Order-specific site evidence
Match the JP label to the site and approved Japanese radio profile. Record the directional azimuth, elevation, mounting structure and classified-zone boundary, then validate coverage from the intended industrial work area.
Directional design boundary
AP-577EX concentrates coverage in an engineered direction; bearing, downtilt, mounting rigidity and obstruction clearance must be part of the RF drawing. Do not substitute the other antenna architecture based only on enclosure appearance.
Hazardous-location release
Selection of a 570EX-series PID does not by itself approve an installation. A qualified party must confirm the applicable area classification, regional certification, mounting accessory, grounding, cable glands, power method, temperature range and startup procedure. HPE's ordering guide requires a separate mounting bracket selection.
