HPE assigns R4W30A to AP-575EX (EG), the internal-omni hazardous-location order. Its radio arrangement is 2x2 on 2.4 GHz and 4x4 on 5 GHz. The separately ordered AP-577EX uses a directional antenna design, so matching an enclosure shape is insufficient when selecting a replacement. Record the destination country and the exact order on the site dossier.
The AP can receive power through E0, E1 or both. HPE specifies 26.1W worst-case consumption for single-port full-function powering and 32.0W with dual-port powering. With one 802.3at class-4 source and Intelligent Power Monitoring disabled, the other Ethernet port is disabled. Enabling IPM permits startup without those initial restrictions, but functions may then be restricted dynamically by the available budget. HPE does not support 802.3af class-3-or-lower sources for this AP.
E0 accepts 100/1000/2500BASE-T, while E1 accepts 100/1000BASE-T. Select the switch, cabling and power policy together. Do not assume that connecting two cables guarantees two active data links: confirm the negotiated speeds and the configured power behavior after installation.
The power injectors listed in HPE's ordering section are not HazLoc certified and must be located outside classified areas. The AP-575EX chassis is supplied without a mounting bracket. Specify the compatible mount and power source separately; approval of the AP does not extend to an injector, cable entry or a complete installation. Use the manufacturer installation instructions and have the qualified site authority confirm the applicable area classification, regional approval, grounding and startup procedure.
