JZ320A Aruba AP-303 (RW) Unified Access Point

JZ320A is the rest-of-world regulatory SKU for the Aruba AP-303, an indoor Wi-Fi 5 unified campus access point. Its 5GHz radio supports 2x2 802.11ac up to 867Mbps, while the 2.4GHz 2x2 radio supports up to 300Mbps. Internal antennas and a single Ethernet port distinguish it from connectorized or dual-Ethernet Aruba models.

Regulatory and lifecycle identity

The RW code still requires country approval and the correct active regulatory profile; it is not permission to deploy in every jurisdiction. HPE's lifecycle material identifies the AP-303 family as retired/obsolete reference equipment. Confirm software support, replacement strategy and entitlement before treating available inventory as a current-design AP.

Power and cabling boundary

The AP-303 accepts 802.3af/at PoE on its E0 port or an approved DC source. It does not provide the AP-303P second Ethernet/PoE-out function. Validate switch PoE class, one data drop, ceiling location and the supplied or separately required mount against the exact shipment.

RF acceptance

Load the approved destination-country profile, then survey both radios with the AP mounted in its final orientation. Capture channel, width, transmit power, client capacity, roaming boundary and interference. Keep the 867Mbps and 300Mbps values as radio PHY maxima rather than promises of application throughput.
