JZ027A Aruba AP-344 Israel Regulatory SKU

JZ027A is HPE's IL-domain standard AP-344 order code. It combines the connectorized 340 Series RF platform with SmartRate connectivity, but it does not carry the FIPS/TAA designation of JZ028A. The exact IL label must remain visible through quotation, shipment and deployment.

Regulatory commissioning

Confirm that the destination is authorized for the IL variant and activate the correct country profile before RF service. Capture permitted bands, channel plan, conducted power, external antenna gain and cable loss in the commissioning record. A successful boot does not substitute for the jurisdiction check.

Cabling and resilience

Plan both the SmartRate access-switch connection and the AP-344 secondary Ethernet role against the selected Aruba software. Validate cabling, negotiated rate, PoE budget and failover behavior under load. External antennas, mounts, power accessories and any RF jumpers must be treated as explicit BOM lines rather than assumed box contents.

Replacement assessment

JZ027A is covered by the 340 Series end-of-sale notice, which points to an Israel-region AP-534 path. The newer platform may change antennas, power, mounting and software requirements, so approve the replacement only after a site-specific compatibility review.
