ICX7150-24P-2X10G PoE+ Access Configuration

ICX7150-24P-2X10G is the 24-port powered-access member of this comparison set. It combines 24 copper Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ ports with a 370 W aggregate power budget and a mixed uplink block: two 1 GbE RJ45, two 1 GbE SFP and two active 10 GbE SFP+ ports.

Plan power before port count

Create an endpoint schedule with device class, negotiated draw, startup demand and criticality. The 370 W figure is shared across all powered ports; it does not promise maximum per-port power on every interface at once. Test the required AP, phone and camera population after a cold restart.

Understand the 2X10G state

The exact order has two 10G SFP+ stacking/uplink ports. The other two SFP ports remain at 1 GbE unless a separate supported upgrade enables the four-port 10G state. Preserve the license display, optic PIDs, peer configuration and the assignment of each high-speed link.

Routing boundary

This 2X10G order is listed with basic Layer 3 functions, including static routing and RIP. Do not inherit OSPF, VRRP, PIM or PBR from similarly named R-suffix orders. Validate the purchased feature state against the running FastIron release.

Receiving and acceptance

Reconcile the complete PID and serial, test 24 copper links, representative PoE loads, restart recovery, both 10G links, both 1G SFP links and both copper uplinks, then retain the configuration and license evidence. Compare ICX7250-24-2X10G when powered access is not required and a different uplink-license path is preferred.
