ICX7150-48-2X10G Canonical 48-Port Configuration

ICX7150-48-2X10G is the canonical 48-port data-only ICX 7150 order. It provides 48 copper Gigabit Ethernet access ports without PoE, plus two 1G RJ45, two 1G SFP and two enabled 10G SFP+ interfaces for uplink or stacking roles.

Use one canonical product record

This exact model also exists in the legacy CMS record p4887. The p4756 record is the established master in the site canonical decision log; the duplicate must redirect here and remain outside the product Sitemap rather than competing as a second indexable page.

Separate link classes during design

Document the role and negotiated rate of all six uplinks. The 2X10G suffix enables two SFP+ positions at 10 GbE; it does not turn the two 1G SFP interfaces into 10G ports. Reserve stacking links before calculating ordinary uplink capacity.

Data-only access and routing boundary

The 48 access ports do not provide PoE. Static routing and RIP belong to the basic Layer 3 state; advanced OSPF, VRRP, PIM or PBR require a supported R-tier entitlement. Validate the live license and FastIron release before acceptance.

Operational proof

Record PID and serial, test all 48 access links, two copper uplinks, two 1G SFP and two 10G SFP+ links, then verify stack recovery, routing display and configuration restore. ICX7150-24-2X10G is the lower-port-count alternative, not a duplicate.
