901-H500-WW00 Overview

In-room wireless and wired connections

901-H500-WW00 identifies a RUCKUS H500 wall-mounted access point and switch. It combines concurrent 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi with wired room connections; it is not an ICX campus aggregation switch.

The H500 uses two spatial streams with 2x2 SU-MIMO. Its Gigabit uplink must be distinguished from the four 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports. Check the bandwidth needs of each wired endpoint before using it for an IPTV, telephone or guest-room installation.

Match the room fit-out to the order

Prepare a per-room schedule showing wallbox location, upstream cable and each attached device. Verify mounting clearances and cable routing before a bulk replacement, and test one complete room before approving the rest. Keep the existing service configuration until wired and wireless acceptance checks are complete.

Confirm region and power separately

The official ordering table lists 901-H500-XX00 and permits WW as a region suffix; that is not universal regulatory approval. Confirm the destination country and supported controller release. The datasheet lists the power supply and injector as optional accessories: put the chosen power arrangement on the bill of materials.
