ACX500-O-DC Overview
Non-PoE outdoor routing for DC sites
ACX500-O-DC is the DC-powered outdoor ACX500 without PoE. Select it where attached devices have independent power. It must not be quoted as ACX500-O-POE-DC, because the power budget, enclosure dimensions and endpoint-power function differ.
DC and interface design
Confirm the site's +24 V, -48 V or -60 V nominal plant and specify grounding, surge protection, breaker and conductor requirements. Allocate the three copper and three SFP GbE interfaces and validate optical compatibility; this model does not deliver power to connected endpoints.
Mounting envelope
Juniper lists a 10 x 12.3 x 4.3 inch enclosure and 11 lb maximum weight for ACX500-O-DC. Check pole or wall loading, cable entry and service clearance using these non-PoE dimensions, not the taller PoE chassis.
Acceptance test
