S2700-52P-PWR-EI High-Density PoE Access Switch

S2700-52P-PWR-EI is Huawei's 48-port PoE+ Fast Ethernet access model in the S2700-EI family. Its front-panel uplinks comprise two 1000BASE-X positions and two 100/1000BASE-X positions, giving the unit a different cabling and power role from non-PWR S2700 products.

Size the PoE system before purchase

The chassis uses two power-module slots rather than a single fixed PoE budget. Record every powered endpoint, its 802.3af or 802.3at class, startup demand and redundancy requirement, then verify the installed Huawei power modules and usable PoE capacity against that schedule.

Keep access and uplink optics separate

The 48 copper access interfaces operate at 10/100BASE-TX. Confirm that this Fast Ethernet edge rate is suitable for the attached phones, cameras or other devices, and order Huawei-supported optical modules for the distinct Gigabit uplink positions.

Stack and software boundary

Huawei's S2700-EI precautions do not list this 52-port model among the non-stacking exceptions. That does not make any software release or cable automatically compatible: verify the running version, approved stack media and peer model before designing a stack.
