The exact JG641A table specifies 12 default supported APs and a maximum of 24 with an optional 12-AP E-LTU. The accessory menu identifies JG648AAE as that 12-AP upgrade. The series introduction's broader 32-AP statement must not replace this exact-model limit. Ask for the offered switch's actual licensed AP count and activation or transfer eligibility; a historic default capacity is not evidence of the license state supplied with a quotation.

Check rack space and the wired connections

The reference unit occupies 1U and measures 44 cm wide, 27 cm deep and 4.36 cm high. It supports an EIA-standard 19-inch rack. The eight copper interfaces negotiate 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps; the two SFP interfaces are described as dual-personality 1000 Mbps ports. Specify the intended active media and fitted transceivers instead of assuming ten independent copper-plus-fiber connections. HPE documents a 20 Gbps switch fabric and an 8000-entry MAC table for this model; neither figure is a guaranteed application throughput.
