FIM-7941F AC starting order

FG-7081F-2 is the 7081F-2 AC SKU. Its defining procurement difference is the included starting I/O module: Fortinet specifies one FIM-7941F rather than the FIM-7921F used by FG-7081F.

What the starting chassis contains

The ordering table lists a 12U eight-slot frame, one FPM-7620F processor module, one FIM-7941F I/O module, two management modules and six hot-swappable redundant 2500W AC power supplies. The AC input range is 200-277 VAC at 50/60 Hz.

FIM-7941F interface identity

Fortinet describes FIM-7941F with two GE RJ-45 management ports, two QSFP-DD ports, twenty QSFP28 ports, two SFP28 ports and two 4 TB local log-storage devices. Active interface behavior still depends on installed modules, optics, software and configuration.

Performance footnote

The common 7081F table publishes 405 Gbps IPS and 312 Gbps threat protection from a six-FPM test combination. Because this base SKU starts with one FPM, those test figures are not represented as guaranteed base-order throughput.
