FC-10-L300F-247-02-12 is a per-device FortiCare Premium support entitlement for an existing FortiGate 300F. It does not include a firewall appliance, security-service bundle or separately expedited RMA add-on.

Premium Support Scope

Fortinet lists Premium support with web and telephone support, firmware updates, asset-portal access and advanced replacement under applicable RMA terms. Current Fortinet material gives Premium a one-hour target for critical issues and next-business-day response for non-critical issues. Delivery and replacement availability remain subject to diagnosis, service terms, cutoff times and geography.

Device Acceptance

Record the production role, accelerated interface dependencies, HA partner, central evidence repository and firmware-change owner for this F-generation platform. Keep it separate from the earlier 300E/301E families even when an internal inventory abbreviates all of them as three-hundred-series firewalls. The asset is a F-series mid-range firewall; keep configuration backup and recovery ownership outside the commercial entitlement record.

For the F-generation mid-range platform, preserve accelerated-interface dependencies, HA roles, configuration repository and the maintenance-window authority. Document which applications rely on the inspection point and how a failed node is isolated. These facts help technical support triage the current architecture and prevent confusion with the older E-series three-hundred family.

For 300F, support readiness should reflect its throughput and interface role in the modernized network. Preserve dependency notes for high-speed handoffs, routing adjacencies and centralized management.
