FC-10-GT70G-660-02-36 attaches Managed FortiGate Service to one FortiGate 70G for 36 months. Under Fortinet's code 660 service, NOC experts are available 24x7 to perform device setup and managed network or security-policy changes. The customer still needs a defined approval and accountability model; the entitlement does not transfer every operational responsibility to Fortinet.

Create a repeatable change catalog

Classify routine firewall, routing, VPN and policy requests by required evidence, approver, maintenance window and rollback plan. Separate standard changes from emergency work and architecture projects. A three-year agreement benefits from a stable catalog because it prevents every request from being treated as a new interpretation of service scope.

Maintain a trustworthy device baseline

Record serial, FortiCare ownership, FortiOS release, HA membership, connected LAN-edge devices, configuration archive and management path. Reconcile that record after hardware replacement or topology change. Each FortiGate in an HA pair requires its own MFGS entitlement even when the devices share a configuration.

Quarterly service governance

Measure request age, failed or rolled-back changes, emergency activity, unresolved access dependencies and configuration drift. Review contact lists and approval authority after staff or partner changes. Use the evidence to improve the runbook rather than relying only on ticket closure counts.
