FC-10-GT70G-660-02-12 is the 12-month Managed FortiGate Service order line for one registered FortiGate 70G. Fortinet describes service code 660 as 24x7 access to NOC experts for device setup and network or policy change management. This electronic entitlement does not supply a firewall appliance and is not a SOC incident-monitoring subscription.

Use a one-year term as an operating-model proof

Define which configuration tasks enter the managed queue, which remain customer-controlled and who approves each change. Record maintenance windows, emergency authority, handoff contacts and escalation paths before onboarding. The short term is useful when an organization needs to validate the managed workflow before adopting a longer commitment.

Prepare the registered device

Confirm the exact 70G serial, end-customer FortiCare account, deployment region, administrative access path, current FortiOS release, configuration backup and HA role. Fortinet requires a separate entitlement for each member of an HA cluster, so a two-unit cluster cannot be covered by one service line.

Onboarding acceptance

Preserve the onboarding completion record, named approvers and the first successful standard change. Test how rejected, urgent and rollback-required requests are handled. Connected FortiAP, FortiSwitch and FortiExtender devices managed by the entitled FortiGate are covered under that managing FortiGate according to the official ordering guide; validate the actual topology during onboarding.

Renewal decision

Before month 12, review request volume, completion quality, emergency handling, ownership gaps and architectural changes. Renew only after confirming that the same device, account, region and operating responsibilities remain valid.
