FC-10-F6H1E-247-02-DD is a per-device FortiCare Premium support entitlement for an existing FortiGate 601E. It does not include a firewall appliance, security-service bundle or separately expedited RMA add-on.

Premium Support Scope

Fortinet lists Premium support with web and telephone support, firmware updates, asset-portal access and advanced replacement under applicable RMA terms. Current Fortinet material gives Premium a one-hour target for critical issues and next-business-day response for non-critical issues. Delivery and replacement availability remain subject to diagnosis, service terms, cutoff times and geography.

Device Acceptance

Verify the final model digit and both onboard drives before registration. The support file should include HA pairing, local retention, disk-alert ownership, central export and lifecycle planning; those operational duties are distinct from FortiCare ticket and replacement eligibility. The asset is a storage-equipped E-series high-capacity firewall; keep configuration backup and recovery ownership outside the commercial entitlement record.

Data-center acceptance evidence should include both drive states, local retention settings, export success, HA synchronization and the named critical-change window. Keep a documented owner for storage alerts and another for FortiCare cases. The distinction matters because a support contract can enable assistance and replacement workflows without guaranteeing the integrity of locally retained security evidence.

For 601E, combine support readiness with storage governance. Confirm who can authorize replacement while preserving the organization’s data-handling requirements for faulty media.
