FC-10-F6H0E-288-02-DD is the SD-WAN Network Monitor entitlement for one existing FortiGate 600E. It enables Fortinet-hosted underlay bandwidth and quality tests; it does not include a firewall appliance, carrier circuit, Overlay-as-a-Service or managed network operation.

Service Scope

Fortinet maps service code 288 to SD-WAN underlay bandwidth and quality monitoring. Supported workflows can measure upstream and downstream capacity and use results as references for interface estimated bandwidth, traffic shaping and SD-WAN policy decisions. Test availability and limits depend on FortiOS and the registered entitlement.

Before activation, match the serial and FortiCloud account, verify FortiOS support, identify every WAN member and establish a non-disruptive test schedule. Results must be reviewed alongside latency, jitter, loss, carrier commitments and application behavior before configuration values change.

Platform Test Plan

The platform token F6H0E maps to a diskless high-capacity SD-WAN edge. Document the 600E serial, HA topology, high-capacity WAN handoffs, carriers, test windows, SLA targets and external telemetry without importing 601E SSD assumptions.

Schedule tests by underlay and policy group so generated traffic cannot distort a production peak. Compare measured upstream, downstream, latency, jitter and loss with carrier commitments before changing shaping or SD-WAN rules.

Validate every material WAN path, HA behavior, cloud test reachability and central evidence. Keep the raw result, applied interface values and rollback configuration together.

For a diskless 600E, verify the external collector and clock alignment before the first scheduled test. Run one high-capacity circuit at a time, then correlate throughput with application errors and carrier maintenance. A measured value is an operational input, not automatic permission to rewrite production shaping. Final acceptance states which interfaces were updated and explicitly excludes local-drive evidence.
