FAP-223E-A Exact Regional SKU

FAP-223E-A is the region-code A order form of Fortinet's external-antenna FortiAP 223E indoor access point. Fortinet documents four external dual-band RP-SMA antenna connections, two Wi-Fi radios, an internal BLE radio and 2x2:2 operation on both Wi-Fi bands.

Regional substitution boundary

The suffix must match the intended deployment country and current Fortinet regulatory record. This page does not infer a country from the letter because certification, permitted channels and power can change. Do not substitute FAP-223E-I or any other suffix without approval.

New-site regulatory approval

Before installation, have the wireless owner record the deployment country, approved 2.4-GHz and 5-GHz channel plan, maximum permitted transmit power and the Fortinet region code selected on the purchase order. Quarantine an A-coded unit if the site approval names another suffix.
