Thirty-two ports with back-to-front cooling

Cisco WS-C4500X-F-32SFP+ provides thirty-two 10-Gigabit SFP+/SFP base interfaces with IP Base software. The exact F variant uses back-to-front airflow and is ordered without power supplies. Retain the complete model when checking a replacement unit; the non-F model has a different cooling direction.

Specify a consistent fan and power configuration

The platform supports dual power supplies and has five field-replaceable fans. Supported positions are not evidence that a particular quote includes two supplies. List the installed power and fan part numbers and check their airflow against the rack design before purchase.

Separate expansion capacity from delivered interfaces

The optional C4KX-NM-8SFP+ adds eight interfaces to the thirty-two-port base. Confirm whether it is actually included and select supported optics for each link. Advanced routing features also require the appropriate software entitlement; an IP Base ordering line should not be presented as an Enterprise Services license.
