N3K-C3132Q-XL Overview
Exact XL platform identity
N3K-C3132Q-XL is Cisco's extended-memory Nexus 3132Q-XL. The 1RU platform has 32 QSFP+ ports; each cage can operate as native 40 Gigabit Ethernet or break out to four 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections when supported cabling, optics and NX-OS configuration are used.
Ports, memory and throughput
Cisco also documents four SFP+ ports, but these are internally multiplexed with the first QSFP+ port and are not an additional independent port group in every configuration. The XL variant carries 8 GB of system memory and 16 GB of log flash. Rated switching capacity is 2.5 Tbps with forwarding up to 1.4 bpps.
Chassis boundary
The chassis uses two redundant power supplies and four fans in a 3+1 arrangement. The base PID does not establish included transceivers, breakout cables, airflow direction or feature licenses.
