Exact V-series identity

N3K-C3132Q-V is the Cisco Nexus 3132Q-V, a 1RU VXLAN-oriented fixed switch with 32 QSFP+ ports. Each port supports native 40 Gigabit Ethernet or four 10 Gigabit Ethernet lanes when the selected optics, breakout cable and NX-OS configuration support that mode.

V-series hardware profile

Cisco rates this exact V model at 2.56 Tbps with forwarding up to 1.4 bpps. It has 16 GB system memory, 16 MB shared buffer, 16 GB eUSB boot flash and a 2.5 GHz dual-core x86 CPU. Two redundant power supplies and four fans arranged as 3+1 support chassis resiliency.

Not the XL variant

The -V PID is distinct from N3K-C3132Q-XL: it does not use the XL page's 8 GB memory identity or four multiplexed SFP+ description. The base PID also does not imply included optics, breakout cables, power-supply airflow or advanced licenses; verify those items before procurement.

Lifecycle

Cisco lists August 31, 2022 as the end-of-sale date and August 31, 2027 as the last date of support. The lifecycle table identifies N9K-C9336C-FX2 as the migration PID, subject to a separate fit assessment.
