Cisco's ordering guide describes C9K-PWR-1600WACR/2 as 1600W AC Power Supply, Redundant. This is an ordering configuration, not an interchangeable spelling of C9K-PWR-1600WAC-R. The underlying 1600W AC module is documented for the C9500-32C High Performance switch.

Redundant AC Design Checks

Before quoting, verify the complete bill of materials, both chassis power slots, existing modules, source capacity and regional AC cords. A redundant hardware order should also be checked against the site's intended circuit separation; merely populating both slots does not prove that upstream power paths are independent.
