C9115AXI-S is the internal-antenna, controller-based 9115AX model for Cisco's S regulatory domain. It is distinct from C9115AXI-EWC-S, which carries an Embedded Wireless Controller image. Country approval for the S domain must be verified before installation.
The AP provides simultaneous 4x4 MIMO with four spatial streams on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Four internal dual-band antennas are integrated. External interfaces include one 100/1000/2500 multigigabit RJ-45 port, an RJ-45 console and USB 2.0.
Full operation uses 802.3at PoE+. Cisco documents reduced 2x2 radios, a 1G Ethernet link and disabled USB when powered by 802.3af. Cisco's amended lifecycle notice sets December 31, 2026 as the last order date and December 31, 2031 as the last date of support, with Cisco Wireless 9174I as the migration product.
