Start with the Cisco ONE hardware PID

C1-ASR1013/K9 selects the ASR 1013 chassis in the Cisco ONE ordering scheme. The exact Table 14 row associates it with IP Base, APIC EM and APIs. The same guide lists Foundation and AUC software suites separately. Check those additional order lines before treating a chassis quotation as a complete application or security package.

Specify processors and interfaces in the bill of materials

The ASR1013 is a 13RU modular platform in the ordering guide. Its forwarding capacity depends on the installed Embedded Services Processors, and data connections depend on the chosen carrier and adapter modules. The C1 hardware row does not enumerate an ESP, RP, SIP, SPA or transceiver set; itemize their PIDs and quantities with the seller.

Reconcile suite ownership and service contracts

The original Cisco ONE portability description is conditional on annual SWSS subscription. Smart Net Total Care is described separately as optional. The C1 prefix alone therefore cannot demonstrate an active support contract, an assignable software suite or present transfer rights. Request the entitlement record and apply the current manufacturer rules to the actual transaction.

Check both ASR1013 power zones

The installation guide shows two power zones. At least one supply must run in each zone; redundant operation requires two in each. Do not combine AC and DC supplies. This is a platform installation requirement, not a claim that a particular number of power modules is included in C1-ASR1013/K9. Verify the delivered supplies and the intended feeds.

Separate the hardware support horizon from security maintenance

EOL13626 explicitly includes C1-ASR1013/K9. Sale ended October 6, 2021; vulnerability and security support ended October 5, 2024. The stated last support date is October 31, 2026 under the applicable contract conditions, and IOS XE 17.6 is the final supported release. A later hardware support milestone does not extend the security-maintenance date.

Plan migration from the precise legacy selection

The notice maps C1-ASR1013/K9 to C1-ASR1009X/K9. Treat that as a manufacturer migration reference, then review the replacement configuration and software rights for the intended design. The official front-view diagram illustrates an ASR1013 platform with modules; it does not prove the offered module inventory, current stock or seller warranty.
