AIR-AP3802E-K-K9C: Controlled staging workflow for a K-token K9C unit

AIR-AP3802E-K-K9C is a single, configurable-domain Cisco Aironet 3802E with external antenna connectors and order token K. The K9C suffix distinguishes this order from the fixed-domain AIR-AP3802E-K-K9.

Use a controlled staging workflow. Quarantine the received AP until the destination country, current Cisco regulatory evidence and authorized configuration have been recorded. Limit configuration access to the staging owner and keep an export or screenshot of the resulting regulatory state.

Build the installation kit separately: approved antennas, cables, brackets, safety hardware and any enclosure. Match the kit to the RF design and record cable loss; the AP model alone does not define radiated performance.

Acceptance should prove controller compatibility, successful join, expected radio operation, PoE delivery and uplink negotiation. Note the switch model and software train so a later fault can be separated from a domain or compatibility error.

Cisco has announced lifecycle milestones for the Aironet 3800 Series. Attach a migration decision and spare policy to the staging record before using this SKU for expansion.
