AIR-AP1832I-Q-K9C Q-Domain Mobility Express Inventory

AIR-AP1832I-Q-K9C is the Q-domain K9C ordering form of the Cisco Aironet 1832i. It provides internal antennas, two spatial streams and 802.11ac Wave 2 operation under either its verified Mobility Express image or a compatible controller deployment.

Q-domain continuous middle block

The Q table identifies thirteen 2.4 GHz channels from 2.412-2.472 GHz, eight 5 GHz channels from 5.180-5.320 GHz and eleven from 5.500-5.700 GHz. Validate legal use and transmit power in the installation country before copying an RF template.

Software conversion check

K9C records the original default software option, not an immutable operating state. Capture current image, regulatory country, controller mode and certificate. If converting roles, preserve rollback and prove that the target release supports every AP in the cluster.

RF acceptance for a two-stream AP

Test throughput and coverage as a two-spatial-stream device, not against a later four-stream specification. Record PoE negotiation, uplink errors, channel width, client mix, mounting and post-install survey evidence.

AIR-AP1832I-R-K9C has a different high-frequency channel expression. Cisco's lifecycle notice maps both toward Catalyst 9115AX and ends support on 30 April 2027.
