AIR-AP1832I-C-K9 is the C-regulatory-domain version of the controller-based Cisco Aironet 1832i. Cisco documents AIR-AP1832I-x-K9 as the standard controller-based format and AIR-AP1832I-x-K9C as the configurable PID shipped with a Mobility Express software image by default. Country approval must be verified before deployment; the regulatory-domain letter is not interchangeable.
The AP uses internal antennas and supports simultaneous 2.4 GHz 3x3 802.11n and 5 GHz 3x3 802.11ac Wave 2 radios with two spatial streams. Cisco lists PHY rates up to 300 Mbps for 40 MHz 802.11n and up to 867 Mbps for 80 MHz 802.11ac. The hardware includes one 10/100/1000 Ethernet uplink, an RJ-45 management console and USB 2.0.
Cisco specifies 44 to 57 VDC input, 15.4 W AP power draw and support for 802.3af, 802.3at, Enhanced PoE, local power and compatible Cisco injectors. When powered by 802.3af, the USB port is disabled. Cisco's lifecycle notice lists AIR-AP1832I-C-K9, names the Catalyst 9115AX Series as the migration family and gives April 30, 2027 as the hardware last date of support.
