ICX7150-C12P-2X10GR-RMT3 Supported Compact Bundle

ICX7150-C12P-2X10GR-RMT3 combines the compact C12P hardware and advanced routing tier with a three-year remote-support term. It has twelve 1 GbE PoE+ access ports, two 1 GbE RJ45 uplinks and two 10 GbE SFP+ uplinks.

Register RMT3 separately from hardware acceptance

The RMT3 suffix is a service entitlement, not a larger PoE budget or longer hardware warranty. Record the switch serial, end customer, support account, activation date and three-year end date. A booting switch does not prove that support registration was completed.

Document endpoint class, measured draw and startup behavior for every powered port. The compact platform lacks a redundant hot-swap supply, so critical phones, access points and cameras need an external continuity decision and a controlled recovery test.

Routing and uplink evidence

The R tier includes OSPF, VRRP, PIM and PBR. Validate both 10G SFP+ links, the two 1G RJ45 uplinks, optics/cables, routing-license state and configuration backup. Compare ICX7150-C12P-2X10GR when the same hardware is required without the bundled RMT3 term.

Lifecycle checkpoint

RUCKUS marks C12P discontinued on January 15, 2026 and identifies ICX 8200 as a replacement family. Use the three-year support period as a migration deadline, not as evidence that new hardware sales or every software release remain available.
