SRX345-DC-TAA Deployment Acceptance

SRX345-DC-TAA is TAA-compliant SRX345 hardware with a single DC power supply. The configuration uses Single DC power and is sold as hardware only.

Boundary: This hardware-only SKU includes no Junos software package, support contract, recurring security service or Mini-PIM unless explicitly quoted.

Model-Specific Validation

Combine origin verification with the DC installation checklist. Record grounding, breaker, polarity and serial evidence before the separately licensed firewall is accepted. The procurement owner must retain manufacturer origin documentation and reconcile it with the purchase-order TAA clause before the electrician starts work. If the received part or certificate differs, quarantine the unit instead of treating electrical compatibility as compliance approval. Only after commercial acceptance should operations complete terminal torque and breaker tests.

Acceptance Evidence

Record grounding, breaker, polarity, serial, software entitlement, interface modules and rollback.

• Verify exact SKU, chassis serial, power variant, Junos entitlement and lifecycle.
• Confirm rack items, Mini-PIMs, support and security subscriptions separately.
• Test included functions and the relevant power scenario with rollback.
• Confirm current orderability with Juniper before purchase.
