QFX10000-36Q Exact Component Identity

QFX10000-36Q is the QFX10000 line card with thirty-six QSFP+ port positions. All 36 positions support 40GbE; twelve are QSFP28-capable dual-speed positions that can operate at 40GbE or 100GbE.

Documented capability and exclusion

The 40GbE ports can be channelized for 10GbE breakout using supported fiber breakout cabling and the documented port map. Boundary: Only the twelve documented QSFP28-capable positions support 100GbE; the model does not make all 36 positions 100GbE ports.

Place 100G links only on the documented dual-speed positions and reserve other cages for 40G or supported breakout use. Verify optic compatibility, channelization groups, Junos release, FPC maintenance behavior and the expected logical-interface count before installation.
