QFX10000-30C Exact Component Identity

QFX10000-30C is the QFX10000 modular-switch line card with thirty QSFP28 cages. Each cage supports 100GbE with QSFP28 or 40GbE with QSFP+, with automatic transceiver-speed detection.

Documented capability and exclusion

The card is supported from Junos OS 15.1X53-D30; 40GbE-to-4x10GbE channelization requires Junos OS 17.1R1 or later. Boundary: Changing the ASIC-associated channelization mode can reboot the FPC, and every fourth port is disabled in channelized mode.

Port-mode migration check

Inventory every optic and breakout cable, then map the intended 100G, 40G and 10G mode by ASIC. Schedule a maintenance window for mode changes and verify the disabled-port pattern before cabling. Confirm chassis slot, Junos release, forwarding configuration and spare optics separately.
