ACX7348-BASE is the extended-temperature 48-port base bundle
Juniper ACX7348-BASE orders one ACX7348 chassis with four fan trays and two power supplies of one selected type: AC or DC. It is not an order for one AC supply plus one DC supply. This distinction matters when matching facility power, cords or DC leads and the spare-PSU strategy.
ACX7348 port and capacity facts
The ACX7348 has 48 fixed 1/10/25GbE SFP/SFP+/SFP28 ports and eight fixed 100GbE QSFP28 ports. Juniper's current product specification lists 2.4 Tbps system throughput and three modular I/O bays, not the older page's unsupported 4.8 Tbps and four-bay claims. Why ACX7348 is not interchangeable with ACX7332
ACX7348 adds 16 fixed SFP28-class access ports and is specified for an extended -40 to 65 degrees C operating range. Its base-bundle weight is 35.5 lb with DC supplies or 35.9 lb with AC supplies. Those facts make it a distinct environmental and port-density choice rather than a renamed ACX7332.
Build a complete order deliberately
Confirm the selected AC or DC PSU option, routing engine quantity, I/O modules, optics, feature licenses, cabling and rack accessories before issuing the purchase order. During acceptance, verify the ACX7348 chassis label, four fan trays, two matching PSUs and all separately ordered control and interface components. The base-bundle code alone does not establish a complete service-ready configuration.
