ACX7332-BASE is the 32-port ACX7332 chassis bundle

Juniper ACX7332-BASE is the base ordering bundle for an ACX7332 Cloud Metro Router. Juniper defines the code as one ACX7332 chassis, four fan trays and two power supplies configured as either AC or DC. The phrase “AC or DC” is a power-option choice; it does not mean the bundle contains a mixed pair of AC and DC supplies.

Fixed port identity

The ACX7332 provides 32 fixed 1/10/25GbE SFP/SFP+/SFP28 ports and eight fixed 100GbE QSFP28 ports. Its three modular I/O bays support additional interface modules for higher-density or higher-speed configurations. The platform system-throughput figure on Juniper's current specification page is 2.4 Tbps.

What must be added to the base bundle

The base code identifies the chassis, fans and power supplies. A deployable bill of materials must separately confirm the required routing engine count, interface modules, transceivers, power cords or DC cabling, rack hardware, Junos OS Evolved software and feature licenses. Do not assume those items are included solely because they appear in the platform capability list.

ACX7332 deployment checks

Juniper lists an operating range of 0 to 55 degrees C for ACX7332. Before ordering, select AC or DC power, verify airflow and site temperature, map every fixed and modular port to the optics plan, and confirm whether one or two routing engines are required. Receiving inspection should match the exact chassis code, four fan trays and two matching PSUs against the purchase order.
