ACX7024-AC-2PSU is the extended-temperature dual-AC model

Juniper ACX7024-AC-2PSU is a 1U Cloud Metro Router built for space-constrained access and aggregation sites. The exact order code combines the ACX7024 hardware profile with two AC power-supply modules and front-to-back airflow. Its 240 mm chassis depth supports deployments where a full-depth router is unsuitable.

Port and forwarding profile

The fixed interface set provides 24 SFP28 ports operating at 1, 10 or 25GbE and four 100GbE QSFP28 ports. Juniper specifies 360 Gbps system throughput. Optics and cables are separate choices; the bill of materials must map reach, fiber type, breakout behavior and Junos OS Evolved support to every intended link.

ACX7024 versus ACX7024X

This non-X ACX7024 model uses a four-core processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and is specified for -40 to 65 degrees C operation. ACX7024X keeps the same front-panel port count and throughput but uses an eight-core processor, 64GB memory and a 0 to 40 degrees C operating range. These environmental and control-plane differences must not be collapsed into one generic page.

Dual AC power engineering

Both AC power modules are preinstalled, hot-removable and hot-insertable. Juniper specifies 90–264 VAC input and requires a dedicated AC feed for each inlet. To obtain useful redundancy, connect the two supplies to appropriately independent feeds and verify the regional C15 cords, protective earth and rack power budget.

Confirm the exact ACX7024-AC-2PSU label, both PSUs, front-to-back airflow, 24 SFP28 cages and four QSFP28 cages. Validate optics, feature licenses, timing interfaces, Junos release, rack clearances and the required extended-temperature site design before commissioning.
