ACX5448-M-DC-AFI Overview
DC plant variant with airflow in
ACX5448-M-DC-AFI combines DC power with AFI, back-to-front cooling. It targets telecom or metro sites whose rack orientation brings cool air from the FRU side toward the port side.
DC engineering boundary
Validate plant voltage, dual feeds, breakers, conductors, lugs and grounding with the Juniper hardware guide and site electrical design. Never replace a DC module with an AC module merely because the chassis family is the same.
Back-to-front cooling control
Inspect the airflow markings on the chassis, fan trays and DC power modules. Maintain clear intake at the FRU side and discharge at the port side. Mixed AFO components can undermine the designed thermal path and are specifically prohibited by Juniper.
Site handover
