ACX5448-D-AC-AFO exact order identity

ACX5448-D-AC-AFO is a Juniper ACX5448-D coherent metro router order. Juniper's official ordering material specifies 36 SFP+/SFP ports, 2 CFP2 ports and 2 QSFP28 ports, redundant AC power supplies and AFO airflow out, from the port side toward the FRU side.

Configuration boundary

This is the front-to-back cooling counterpart to the AC-AFI order. Confirm the rack's hot-aisle direction and do not mix AFO fan or power modules with AFI components.

Order-specific acceptance

This AC/AFO order belongs in a conventional cold-aisle-to-hot-aisle rack. Map each factory AC supply to an independent PDU, check the orange AFO handles, and verify that the port side faces the intake aisle before connecting coherent optics.

Power and cooling control

Confirm that both power-supply modules and all fan modules match the ordered airflow. Juniper warns against mixing AC and DC supplies or mixing AFI and AFO components in one chassis. Record the handle labels before rack installation.

Software and optical acceptance

Juniper's ordering table states that the right-to-use feature must be ordered separately. Preserve the software entitlement, Junos release, optic compatibility, timing requirements and rack accessories as separate quotation and receiving checks.
