ACX4000-DC is Juniper's exact redundant-DC ACX4000 ordering code. The ordering table identifies a 2.5U hardened modular router with two 10GbE SFP+ ports, eight GbE copper/SFP combination ports, two additional GbE SFP ports, two configurable MIC slots and Junos OS; optics are separate.
The hardware guide lists 18 to 30 VDC, -39 to -56 VDC and -39 to -72 VDC input ranges. It also gives model power-system current values for 24, -48 and -60 VDC operation. Select conductors, lugs and the dedicated site breaker from the actual plant voltage and local code rather than from the model suffix alone.
Power slots PS0 and PS1 support 1+1 operation. When two supplies are present they share the load, and one can assume the full load if its peer fails. Record both supply identities, polarity, grounding and independent breaker paths; AC and DC supplies cannot power the chassis simultaneously.
Of the eight combination positions, the guide describes six RJ45 ports and eight SFP receptacles, with two dedicated 65 W powered RJ45 ports complying with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at. Juniper's ordering table uses a PoE++ label, while the detailed standards statement is PoE/PoE+. Test the intended powered device against the documented electrical limit.
The two MIC slots, transceivers, timing connections and service entitlements require their own bill of materials. Verify slot modules, optics, clocking, alarms, both DC feeds and Junos rollback before field cutover.
