USG6635E-AC Fixed-Port Enterprise Firewall

USG6635E-AC, Huawei BOM 02352RQD, is the AC configuration of the USG6635E. Huawei specifies 16 adaptive GE RJ45 business ports, 12 GE/10GE SFP+ ports, two 40GE QSFP+ ports and 32 GB ECC memory in a 1U chassis.

Account for the 40GE port dependency

Huawei documents that enabling 40GE0/0/1 makes XGigabitEthernet0/0/8 through 0/0/11 unavailable. Build the final port map before ordering optics: a design cannot consume all twelve SFP+ positions and both QSFP+ positions independently.

Separate management from forwarding

The dedicated MEth0/0/0 RJ45 interface is for out-of-band management and is not a service interface. Provide an isolated management network and count the 16 GE RJ45 business ports separately in the capacity plan.

Resilience and storage

Two hot-swappable AC modules form a 1+1 power arrangement, and four replaceable fans provide 3+1 fan redundancy with front-to-rear airflow. Storage is optional; if local logs or reports are required, specify an exact Huawei-supported SATA drive and verify support against the installed software release.

Acceptance

Verify 02352RQD, V600 software, 16 GE links, the planned SFP+/QSFP+ combination, both AC feeds and fan failover. Confirm the optional drive, included SSL VPN entitlement and every additional security license against the final quotation.
