USG6555E-AC Power and Storage Profile

USG6555E-AC is documented under Huawei BOM 02353AEK and later revisions. Huawei lists two GE WAN, eight GE Combo and two 10GE SFP+ interfaces, one included AC module with an optional second supply, and an optional hot-swappable M.2 SSD.

Do not assume redundant power is included

The chassis can form 1+1 power redundancy only after the second compatible module is ordered and connected to an independent source. Receiving should record both module PIDs and feeds, then prove that removing either supply leaves the appliance healthy and alarm reporting intact.

Storage changes the evidence plan

If an SSD is ordered, verify its exact capacity, health, retention purpose and export procedure. A unit without the optional drive needs an external logging destination sized for investigation and compliance requirements; never infer local retention from the empty storage bay.

Respect Combo and hardware revisions

Each GE Combo pair has mutually exclusive electrical and optical sides. Early and later shipments can also differ in USB implementation and power characteristics, so capture the full BOM suffix, front/rear photographs and running hardware information rather than accepting the shared model name alone.

Match USG6555E-AC and the delivered 02353AEK revision, test WAN, Combo and 10GE paths, fan extraction, each installed power module, optional SSD, management access and exported logs before policy handover.
